Top 10 Father & Bride Dance Songs

Choosing the perfect wedding song to dance to with your dad is so important. I was raised by my grandfather, and the bond I had with him was unexplainable. I have been dreaming about my wedding since I was 5 years old and I literally practiced the father-daughter dance while stepping on his shoes. I will never forget those special moments.

Now that I am a wedding planner, I get to witness so many beautiful father and daughter dances. Most of the time I can even understand the reason why a bride chose that specific song to dance with her father.

Some brides ask me how to choose their song. I typically suggest starting by deciding what type of music you want. You might want to choose a sentimental song that represents your relationship with your father, a song that contains meaningful lyrics {if you decide to go with their route make sure you have Kleenex, jijij}, or you might want to choose a fun and happy song that will make everyone join and dance with you. Whatever is the case, choose a song both you and your dad will enjoy and never forget.

Below is a list of the top 10 father and bride songs my 2019 brides chose.
